Double Award Winners at the AEMT Awards 2023

Service Centre of the Year and Diversity in Engineering Accolades for Avonmouth Engineering Services at the 2023 AEMT Awards

Avonmouth Engineering Services were delighted to win an amazing two Awards at this years Assocation of Electrical & Mechanical Trades (AEMT) Awards.

We were awarded the prestigious Service Centre of the Year award for our custom 70,000 square foot workshop which is the largest single workshop facility for electrical and mechanical repairs in the UK, alongside our second 20,000 square foot division in Cheltenham.  We provide an extensive range of inhouse and onsite services for the repair, overhaul and upgrade of electromechanical technologies across the entire rotodynamic industry, with a special focus on reliability services and the pump industry.

In addition as Hidrostal GB (with our sister companies Bedford Pumps and Hidrostal Ltd) we were also presented with the estemeed Diversity in Engineering award.  At Hidrostal GB, ED&I is embedded into our culture.  From recruitment to career development, alongside everyday life at work, we ensure that our employees feel supported, valued and accommodated whatever their individual needs.  We are part of the UK Home Office sponsorship scheme and have a strong focus on wellbeing with EAP Programmes, MHFAiders and Wellness rooms onsite.  Our Diversity & Equal Opportunities policy has been adopted by the AEMT as a blueprint for others.

The AEMT Awards showcases the very best achievements from the entire electrical and mechanical trades sector celebrating business and professional excellence so we are incredible honoured to have been recognized for our achievements, not only in these two awards but also as finalists for Project of the Year and our Contribution to Skills and Training.

Our accolades were presented during a glittering Awards Ceremony which took place on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel hosted by the AEMT.  Seven category awards were presented on the night.
